Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 345, the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent

Kathmandu — The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed nine COVID-19 related deaths.

Nine persons, three females and six males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the daily report released by the MoHP today.

Of the nine COVID-19 related deaths, six were recorded in Kathmandu itself. Two females aged 65 and four males, a 59-year-old, a 70-year-old, a 64-year-old and a 59-year old, of Kathmandu died while receiving treatment at various health facilities in the Valley, national daily The Rising Nepal reports.

Likewise, a 45-year-old female of Kaski and a 69-year-old male of Morang also succumbed to the virus infection.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 345 and the death rate stands at 0.64 per cent.
