A British Nepali Woman dies, man and children injured in house fire in London
London : A woman has died and a man is fighting for his life in hospital after a house fire in Orpington .
Police were called to the home in Cray Avenue at 11.14pm last night (Monday, May 27) to assist the London Fire Brigade (LFB) who were dealing with the fire, My London has reported.
A 45-year-old British Nepali woman named Anjana Gurung was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
Three other people were also taken to hospital – the husband of the victim Mr. Him Gurung , who is in a life-threatening condition, and her children a 17-year boy named Elon and a 10-year girl Angel.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being conducted, led by the South Area Command Unit and the LFB.
